Curator
As a curator, Bernadine takes the gallery's thematic vision of their exhibition and works with the artists to bring that vision to fruition in a professional, coherent show historically grounded in art but with an innovative twist. She installs work that honours that journey and creates a path for the viewer. A skilled writer, her curatorial essays are insightful providing more depth for the reader on locating the work within the theme. Her organizational process protects the art both in delivery, installation, and shipping. She is versed in copyright, contract and catalogue issues.
Bernadine has been and is currently the assistant curator at Britannia Art Gallery under the tutelage of Haruko Okano since 2019.
